    About PA TechCon

PA TechCon Spring 2017 (www.patechcon.com), scheduled for May 4, 2017 at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, is a one-day Information Technology conference brought to you by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of Administration and Office of Information Technology, The Technology Council of Central PA (www.tccp.org) and Harrisburg University of Science and Technology (www.harrisburg.edu).

PA TechCon provides education and networking opportunities to state and local government agencies, the Pennsylvania IT vendor community, their employees and information technology thought leaders from across the United States. The Pa TechCon’s Spring 2017 Conference is themed around innovation and will have five tracks of parallel sessions. Each track consists of four independent 45-minute sessions providing attendees with the flexibility of switching tracks over the course of the day to attend sessions that are of the most interest. Each track has a designated Commonwealth Track Owner responsible for working with the selected session vendors to provide guidance on the objectives of the session as well as review and provide feedback on the draft session materials. The track owner will attend all sessions in the track, introduce speakers, facilitate Q&A sessions, and moderate panels as needed.

An exhibition area will be open to all conference attendees and provides an opportunity for the IT Industry to showcase their products, services and expertise. Please refer to the PA TechCon Sponsorship section of the website for more information on how you can sponsor and exhibit at PA TechCon.

The conference opens with a morning keynote session at 9:00am and we end our conference day with a late afternoon keynote at 3:30pm. In between our attendees will be treated to 16 informative sessions spanning the aforementioned conference tracks.

Each seminar session will be led by an IT industry visionaries or practitioner.

We’ll wrap up the day at PA TechCon After Hours, an invitation only event, that provides an opportunity for the PA TechCon Conference sponsors, speakers and exhibitors to meet with Commonwealth of Pennsylvania IT leadership in an informal, happy-hour like setting.
